Cathedral of Learning with moon in background

The University of Pittsburgh has been selected as one of 25 universities to join the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) Global Scholars Program.

The NIBR supports projects focused on novel science with the objective of being translated to drug discovery and/or clinical research. Pitt investigators can submit proposals for translational research funding of up to $1 million over three years. The opportunity is available to Pitt investigators who are pursuing disruptive ideas, are comfortable collaborating across disciplines and have an entrepreneurial spirit.

Faculty have until April 25 to submit a pre-proposal.
