Register to hear Haben Girma at the Florence Gibbs Momeyer Endowed Lecture

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work Center on Race and Social Problems welcomes human rights lawyer Haben Girma as the featured lecturer at the Florence Gibbs Momeyer Endowed Lecture.

Girma is the first Deafblind person to graduate from Harvard Law School and was named a White House Champion of Change by President Barack Obama.

The virtual lecture will be held at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, and registration is required. Captioning services and ASL interpretation will be provided.
