Celebrate the Year of Data and Society on April 8

Celebrate the Year of Data and Society at the University of Pittsburgh, and learn about this academic year’s award-winning projects. This initiative of the Office of the Provost has supported an exciting collection of research, events and curriculum development and teaching activities.

A Celebration of the Year of Data and Society will be held from 1-4:30 p.m. Friday, April 8, and will include panels on facilitating learning about data, sustaining the impact of project activities, lightning talks and a poster session.

Join us as we learn how faculty, students and staff are contributing to fostering socially responsible data practices and to understanding the impacts of data on our communities.
