Join Staff Council from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, March 9, for its Spring Assembly. This year’s keynote speaker is Felicia Savage Friedman, founder and CEO of YogaRoots, and the theme is, “Who are You in the Legacy of Racism?”

For more than 30 years, Friedman has transformed lives with embodied anti-racist organizing. She envisions a future where we have dismantled systems of oppression and humanely rebuilt new systems together.

This virtual assembly will allow participants to begin or continue the work of dismantling racism, patriarchy and capitalism through a lens of self and collective care. Other speakers include Angela Coldren, Staff Council president; James Gallagher, vice chancellor for human resources; Clyde Wilson Pickett, vice chancellor for equity, diversity and inclusion; and others.

Register to attend.
