Beth McGrew promoted to vice chancellor for planning, design and real estate

Beth McGrew has been promoted to vice chancellor for planning, design and real estate at Pitt. In this role, she will oversee institutional and campus master plan processes, architectural design, real estate portfolio management and space planning to support the 42,000-member University community, as well as partner with regional campus development teams.

For the past two and a half years, McGrew has provided a clear vision for strategic campus development and forged new relationships with the City of Pittsburgh which will benefit the Pitt community for decades to come. She brings extensive experience and dedication to higher education, leading planning, design and construction at the University of Cincinnati for 15 years prior to joining Pitt.
