Aerobic Mix

    Aerobic Mix is a class for anyone who enjoys variety in their workouts. The formats of these classes vary for each session and can include the following: Step Aerobics, Hi-Lo Aerobics (floor), Body Sculpting, Cardio Kickboxing, Pilates and Stretching.

Aerobic Fitness Boxing

    Aerobic Fitness Boxing is for anyone that would like to get a high intensity aerobic workout. This class incorporates martial arts, boxing and conditioning exercises to increase fitness levels and muscular strength.

Aerobic Mix-High Energy/Low Impact

    This class is great for individuals of all fitness levels. Cardiovascular exercise including dance and step aerobics is combined with resistance training using hand weights, resistance bands, and/or weighted bars. Abdominal and core work is also included. Great for all ages!


Body Sculpting and Pilates

Body Sculpting

    Body Sculpting is a class for anyone who is interested in sculpting the muscles of the body. Dumbbells, Body Bars, Bands and Balls are used in this class to increase muscular strength and definition.

Pilates

    The Pilates method of body conditioning strengthens and tones muscles, improves posture, provides flexibility, balance, and creates a more streamlined shape using your body's own natural resistance to define and elongate the muscles. Mats can be purchased for $10 from the instructor.


Yoga and Tai Chi

Yoga I

    Yoga I is a class for beginners. It incorporates the mind and body to create a balance between the two. This class involves movements to increase strength and balance and to promote deep stretching and relaxation.

Yoga II

    Yoga II is for intermediate to advanced participants. It is a more advanced version of Yoga I.

Power Yoga

    This class is for anyone that has previous yoga experience and would like a physical challenge and doesn’t mind breaking a sweat. Power Yoga is a form of Ashtanga Yoga that emphasizes strength and flexibility. This class is not a gentle form of yoga; however, participants will be encouraged to progress at their own levels and will be given modifications for difficult movements.


Aquatics

Water Aerobics

    Water Aerobics is a low impact, moderate intensity aerobic activity. No swimming experience is necessary. This class is an excellent complement or alternative to traditional land-based aerobics. It is appropriate for those individuals with orthopedic issues that may limit participation in high impact activities.

Beginning Swimming

    Beginning Swimming is for anyone who has little or no prior swimming experience. Stroke techniques, breathing methods and treading water will be covered.

Intermediate Swimming

    Intermediate Swimming is for intermediate to advanced swimmers. Refined stroke methods as well as diving and snorkeling will be taught. Swimming endurance is the focus of this course.


Combination Classes

Zumba

    One of a kind combination of dance and exercise designed to put "fun" back into fitness. The Zumba workout maximizes caloric expenditure, fat burning, and total body toning. Features aerobic interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Exotic and explosive Latin rhythms create a party-like atmosphere that delivers results. No previous dance experience is needed to have fun with Zumba!

Total Body Fusion

    This class if for anyone looking to increase cardiovascular fitness level, firm and tone muscles, increase flexibility and de-stress. A typical Total Body Fusion class starts with cardiovascular exercise such as step aerobics, kickboxing and/or hi-lo aerobics, moves to body sculpting using free weights, bands and balls and finishes up with core work and stretching exercises. If you like a little of everything, this is definitely the class for you!

Aerobic Mix and Bodysculpting

    A moderate to high intensity aerobic exercise that incorporates martial arts, boxing, and conditioning exercises.

Yoga & Pilates

    Yoga & Pilates is a class for anyone who enjoys both disciplines but doesn’t have the time to practice both separately or wants more variety. It incorporates basic to intermediate movements from both disciplines to create a dynamic workout for the entire body.


Dancing

Dance, Dance, Dance

    Dance, Dance, Dance, set to contemporary music, is designed to get your moving while learning fun and exciting dance movements! The class begins with a warm-up consisting of fundamental dance principles and techniques that will prepare you to move into dance phrases and choreographed movement. The class cools down with a series of stretches and muscle relaxing exercises. No previous dance training is required.
