Prizes:
The chance to have your work featured on a special broadcast of Prosody, a weekly literary arts program on WYEP-FM 91.3 (Prosody airs on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 7:30). Cash prizes.
Eligibility:
All currently enrolled Pitt undergraduates who have attended at least one Writers’ Café session in this academic year. If you haven’t come to a session, you can still attend one, right up until the day of the contest deadline.
Guidelines:
Poets—submit 1–3 poems (no more than 3 pages per poem);
Prose Writers (fiction and nonfiction)—up to 5,000 words. In all genres, names
should not be included on the work; instead,
complete an entry form and attach
it to each submission.
Students
may submit in more than one genre, but each submission should
be accompanied by a separate form. We are unable to accept
email submissions. Submitted work will not be returned.
Deadline:
All submissions must be received by Friday, March 22, 2013 at 3 p.m. at this address:
