local radio exposure and Book Center gift certificates

Winners in each genre will have their work featured on a special
broadcast of Prosody, a weekly literary arts program
on WYEP-FM (91.3) produced by Jan Beatty and Ellen Placey
Wadey. Prosody
airs on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 7:30.
Eligibility:
All currently enrolled Pitt undergraduates who have attended
at least one Writers' Café session in this academic
year (Sept. 2007- March 2008) are eligible. If you haven’t
come to a session, there’s still time! (The next session
is March 28).
Guidelines:
Poets—submit 1-3 poems (no more than 3 pages per poem);
Prose Writers—up to 5,000 words. In all genres, names
should not be included on the work; instead,
complete an entry form and attach
it to each submission.

may submit in more than one genre, but each submission should
be accompanied by a separate form. We are unable to accept
email submissions. Submitted work will not be returned.
