The Council on Academic Computing was
established in December 1999 to advise the Provost on academic computing
needs throughout the University. The Council endorses proposals and
recommends priorities and policies in the areas of network services, the
acquisition of instructional software, and the development of specialized
facilities. The Council provides a forum for technical discussions of faculty
computer interests via a broadly representative membership that is
knowledgeable of computing issues. The Council chair is appointed by the Provost. |
