Financial Aid

2000-2001

Application Process:

1.       Obtain a copy of the 2000-2001 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

a.       FAFSA should be mailed to all PA graduating seniors

b.       Copies available in your High School guidance office.

c.       Copies available in the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville Financial Aid Office.

2.       Complete the application as early as possible.  After January 1, 2000 and BEFORE May 1, 2000 (for PA residents).

3.       Mail the completed FAFSA in the mailer provided, or file electronically via www.fafsa.ed.gov.

4.       A Student Aid Report (SAR) will be mailed from the Federal Processor to acknowledge receipt and to allow for corrections.

5.       If the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville is one of your school choices, list the school on the FAFSA in Step Five.  The USDOE Title IV school code is 003383.

Application Deadlines:

1.  Federal Financial Aid                    Jan. 1, 2000 to June 30, 2001

2.  PHEAA State Grant Program         May 1, 2000

3.  University of Pittsburgh                  After January 1, 2000
     at Titusville Aid                             and as  early as possible
