Sigma Tau Delta
Sigma Tau Delta is an international honor society for majors of the English ilk. The society's main focus is to promote high levels of academic excellence while fostering the growth of the English arts. In addition to holding yearly conferences, the society provides further opportunities for its members through scholarships and internships. Sigma Tau Delta was founded in the year of 1924 by Judson Q. Owen at Dakota Wesleyan University. Joining this prestigious society is an honorable commitment: to the art of literature; the art of writing; and above all, "Sincerity, Truth, and Design."
