The 24-Hour Comic began as a dare in 1990 when Scott McCloud dared Steve Bissette to create a 24-page comic in only one day. Since then, many have tried to replicate the feat. The Alpha Alpha Delta Chapter annually organizes and holds its own 24-Hour Comic event, paying homage to this often dismissed literary form.
