  • Description: This committee provides UPG sports fans with an outlet. This committee designs a 6th Man t-shirt annually and organizes tailgate parties, halftime contests, and other events that make sporting events more fun for the fans.

  • Description: This program is attempting to persuade local bars to provide free non-alcoholic drinks to students who wear the pin.

Food Quality Assurance / Feedback

  • Description: This committee meets with Chartwell's employees on a monthly basis to discuss the quality of food in the dining hall, bobcat station, and the Coffee House. It is the job of the committee to constantly seek suggestions to better the food and facilities provided to UPG students.
  • Latest News: We just issued a survey about extending coffeehouse hours to Fri. during lunch hours. The results will be out soon. Our next survey will be about the Smoking Forum and the new smoking ban.
Public Relations
  • Members: Katie Bondarenka, Mike Eaton, Tom Krupa
  • Description: This commitee's goal is to help keep the campus informed of what the SGA is doing. They are responsible for the SGA Connection newsletter, the Big Red Sign, and maintaining the SGA website.
  • Latest News: News letters are published once a week, to have your club or commitee's event published contact us. Big red sign applications are available in Chambers room 212. The sign is updated on Wednesday afternoons and the occasional Thursday.

  • Description: The SGA provides two scholarships, the John Ridilla Leadership Scholarship and the Truex Study Abroad Scholarship. The committee helps market the scholarships to the students and to pick the winner's each semester.
