Teaching of Psychology (“serving as a TA”)
Students interested in a teaching career may be interested in signing up for Teaching of Psychology, PSY 1972. Prerequisites include prior successful completion of Psychology courses, including the course in question, upper-class status, and an invitation or agreement to supervise by the faculty instructor. Additional requirements may be negotiated by mutual arrangement.
Psychology Brownbag Series
Join us for lunchtime discussions or presentations by students, faculty, outside speakers, etc. several times a term. Sessions may range from formal presentations to informal discussions of work in progress or being planned. Our Brownbag series is a chance to meet faculty and students interested in psychology while enjoying lunch or refreshments (bring your own). Students in Senior Thesis (PSY 1925) will make oral presentations of their senior projects each Fall and Spring as part of the Brownbag series. When possible, speakers who come to the campus for presentations in the Villages will be invited to participate in a Brownbag as well.
For more information, contact Dr. Koeske or Dr. Asplin
