College Hall, opened in 1996, houses between 100 - 144 students and offers modern features including air conditioning and a private bathroom in each room.  The unique design of the building offers students community living while maintaining a sense of privacy.

The College Hall environment is intended to build a sense of belonging for all students.  The inclusion of several lounges and study areas throughout the building provides students an opportunity to build a strong community.  The community in College Hall enhances the college experience and helps facilitate the development of friendships that span well beyond the collegiate years.

College Hall is also home to the First Year Experience (FYE) Residential Learning Community, a program designed to help students adjust to the college experience.  Students that are interested in joining the FYE must complete the FYE Application.  For more information regarding the FYE, please contact Ms. Leigh Hoffman at 724-836-9954 or via email at leigh7@pitt.edu.
