LA CULTURA DINNER TO FEATURE SPAIN: THE GOLDEN AGE
The third installment of the La Cultura Dinner will be held Saturday,
Jan 17, 2004. This year the dinner will feature 16th Century
Spain: The Origins, Treasure & Legacy of the Golden Age. The dinner
will celebrate Spain with Spanish cuisine, decor, and
costumes--all authentic to the culture. All proceeds will benefit the
Guy Rossetti International Study Fund. Click

PGAA HELPS SPONSOR 5K HARVEST RUN
The PGAA, along with the help of Westmoreland County Food Bank and Hempfield
Township Rotary, held a 5K Harvest
Run on Saturday, Nov 8. Francis Molinaro of Connellsville placed first
out of the 46 runners that participated. All proceeds
benefited the Westmoreland County Food Bank.
"The food bank is an excellent organization that goes out of its way
to help feed the hungry," PGAA President Jason
Gongaware said. "Everyone, runners included, really did a great job."

PGAA HOSTS DINNER TO HONOR PROFESSOR ROBERT J. A. PRATT
The UPG community came together Saturday, Oct 25 to celebrate the distinguished
teaching career and establishment of the
Robert J.A.Pratt Endowed Student Resource Fund. The evening featured
speeches from UPG President Frank A. Cassell,
PGAA President Jason Gongaware, and Susan L. Nelson, PGAA 2001 alumna
of distinction. Many of Pratt's former students
and colleagues gave remarks and William F. Hoffman, III (Class of 2001)
performed a live sketch as Pratt. Click

Head Men's Basketball Coach, Marcus Kahn, runs a
monthly e-newsletter informing students and alumni of all the goings-on
with the men's basketball team. Anyone interested in
