Information About the Office
• The office of University Relations and Institutional Advancement serves students, faculty, staff, and student organizations as an outlet to all off-campus media.
• University Relations and Institutional Advancement is responsible for all development efforts and Alumni Affairs at UPG.
• University Relations and Institutional Advancement produces the following publications:
• Blue & Gold, a newsletter mailed ten times a year to faculty, staff, alumni, and community leaders in the media, government, foundations, business, and education;
• Intercom, UPG's source for official campus announcements, which is published weekly for campus distribution during the fall and spring academic terms;
• UPG Families and UPG Neighbors newsletters which are published twice per year, in September and January, and mailed to the families of UPG students or UPG neighbors within close proximity to campus;
• Pitt-Greensburg Alumni Connection, a monthly electronic newsletter for UPG alumni.
• Information about group events, individual or group accomplishments or awards, community service projects, fund raising, or other special events can receive local, hometown, and in some cases, national coverage.
• News is presented to the media in the form of press releases, public service announcements, and feature articles if appropriate.
