Political Science (Bachelor of Arts)

The Political Science major encourages the student to analyze the theories, institutions, and processes of political systems; develops a continuing and responsible interest in political activity and public affairs; and provides a basis for citizenship through a fundamental understanding of the nature of political systems.

Courses in Political Science are grouped into four fields. (I) American government, (II) comparative government, (III) international relations, and (IV) political theory. Students must earn at least a C grade in all courses used to fulfill major requirements.
