2003 UPG Activities Fair

Each year the Greensburg Campus sponsors a student activities fair during the third week of the Fall Term to familiarize new students with clubs, activities and events on campus. For the second year in a row, the Millstein Library was invited to participate. Staff members went all out this year devising clever contests for students to enter such as the "1963 quiz" in honor of our 40th anniversary, homemade bookmarks listing our newest "hot" acquisitions, and Lord of the Rings bookmarks. If that wasn't enough, students scooped up 1960's era candy and participated in an ongoing scrabble game. More than 100 students came to visit us that day and 77 participated in our contests. Winners received gift certificates to the UPG bookstore or Lord of the Rings posters. A good time was had by all.
