University Meal Plan Policies:
All resident students are required to participate in a University Meal Plan. Each plan provides nutritious and convenient meals at an economical price. Meals are served three times daily Monday - Friday with limited continual service between all meal times, and twice (brunch and dinner) on Saturday and Sunday. Most meals offer seconds on the entree and all - you - can - eat on all other items. All menus are prepared by the Dining Service Staff under the supervision of the Director of Dining Services. The meal week begins with Monday Breakfast and ends with Sunday Dinner.
Meal Plans:
* 19 Meals
* 14 Meals plus $50.00 Flex
* 10 meals
* 10 meals plus $100.00 Flex
* 90 Block Meal Plan plus $100.00 Flex
Flex Dollars:
Flex Dollars are integrated into three of the meal plans that gives
you added flexibility and convenience. Flex dollars may be used at either
campus dining locations. They may be used to supplement your meal plan
if you have eaten the maximum weekly meals allowed in your plan. Meals
may also be purchased for family and friends when they visit. The cost
of Flex dollars is included in the cost of the meal plan and is billed
to your room / board invoice. Flex dollars are posted at the beginning
of each term and do not carry over from term to term.
The Block Meal Plan:
The block plan allots students 90 meals or blocks per semester. The
blocks may be exchanged for any meal. One block is deducted from the students
account each time the student eats a meal. More than one block may be used
per meal period. The student does not lose a block if he does not eat a
meal. Blocks do not carry over from one semester to the next.
Cash Allowance:
You can use for any eligible meal at the Bobcat Station. For each meal,
the Bobcat Station will offer a complete meal special at or below the cash
allowance rate. Or you can select any item available at the Bobcat Station
and apply the cash allowance rate to the cost of the meal. If you
exceed the cash allowance rate you can charge the balance to your flex
account.
UPG Flex Dining Plans:
