Study of surface plasmon polariton (SPP) dynamics with interferometric time-resolved photoemission electron microscopy (ITR-PEEM): Movies

Whole.avi. Movie shows a field of view of 11.5x9.2μm. The range of pump-probe delay, τd, is 9¾~ 35½x2π phase, which corresponds to 13.00 to 47.36 fs. At the beginning (τd > 15x2π), the entire image oscillates in-phase. After that (15x2π <τd <25x2π), dots show out-of-phase oscillations. At longer delays (τd >25x2π), the dot oscillations diminish. 4Dots.avi. Magnified movie of the four localized plasmons modes indicated by the rectangle. Out-of-phase oscillations can be clearly seen in the intermediate delay range. Download 8.7MB
