| ogechi on theta nu xi | I originally was not looking to join any Greek organization because I didn't feel that it was necessary. I was already so involved on campus and I felt that I was complete in who I was and how I was involved. I also didn't think I saw who I was or how I wanted to evolve as a woman in any of the sororities on campus. Then one fateful day I saw the ladies of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority Inc. tabling on campus and saw the word multicultural and they stood out to me. I keep them in the back of my mind and went to an interest meeting and felt an amazing vibe. At that moment I knew that I had to get involved in this organization. I knew that as a Theta Woman I could do even more on campus, I could be an even greater instrument of change, service, and leadership. The tenets were ideals that I possessed and always tried to improve upon in my life. AS a Theta Woman I know I can be prideful of my heritage as well as celebrate those of others. One day I hope that people on campus will feel comfortable celebrating diversity without the need for a specific organization. Until then, together with my sisters, I will pave the way for that change.
