| kyra on theta nu xi | I wanted to join Theta Nu Xi because I have always felt that I come from a background with people who were not always accepting or appreciative of the differences we all have as people, as I am. As I grew older I realized more and more how important it was for me to find bonds with people who not only appreciate these differences, but find them beautiful. I also wanted to join an organization that would enable me to advocate for this purpose of multiculturalism. That is when I found Theta Nu Xi. To me this sorority exemplifies the acceptance and appreciate of  many kinds of women and people. It stands strong as a living example that multiculturalism is possible, and that people with differences can not only live in harmony, but love one another.
