This is my old '84 GTI. My friend Mike told me about it. Turned
out my friend Andy picked up
another GTI and wanted to get rid of it. So as soon as my tax refund
came in, I had another bunny in the family.
It has Neuspeed springs and Boge Turbo Gas shocks which gives it a good 1.25-1.5" drop, Techtonics exhaust, new clutch and pressure plate and a K&N filter.
While I worked on the White Rabbit, I used this as a parts/grocery getter.
The interior is extremely clean, but a little musty from sitting for so long! The only blemishes are tears in the vinyl on the seats. These should be relatively easy to repair. Also the luggage tray behind the rear seat has had holes cut in it for 6x9s. Oh well...
What it needs is alot of bodywork. Mainly treating surface
rust along the windshield and doors and behind the license plate.
