Huge burden for our staff. Many people worked weekends and overtime to handle all the calls that came in. We had to limit our return calls to those people from counties without positive birds, or those with extreme concerns.

Many problems with transferring information from the hotline to a data base-very labor intensive and many opportunities for errors. Resulted in difficulties when GIS mapping was attempted.
