We were most concerned with long-term outcomes, namely infertility. Our primary outcomes had to do with involuntary infertility. To be more specific, the primary outcome was simply pregnancy. Infertility in this particular population is exceedingly difficult to quantify. These are women who are not trying to get pregnant because they’re changing partners, going on contraception, having a lot of sexual intercourse, and are a very mobile and disenfranchised population.
