Recruitment was conducted at:

- 6 Obstetrical clinics

- Pittsburgh public schools

- Maternity shelters

- Allegheny County Social Service Agencies

On average, the pregnant teens were white, 17, and 19 weeks in to their pregnancy. I must point out, however, the sample had near equal representation of White and Black subjects.
