There is currently a very large NICHD/NHLBI trial in which they are going to be testing whether antioxidant therapy will prevent preeclampsia. It's going to have somewhere between nine and twelve thousand women in it. The question would be "Is there in fact background data to support the study, and what kind of principles should guide any such study of preventive therapy?"
