Figure 1 shows the pattern of overlapping sensitisation to different aeroallergens. Overall, 41% (206/498) of children were sensitised to at least one of the aeroallergens tested. For mutually exclusive allergen-specific sensitisation, the HDM-specific (allergic to HDM or other allergen but not ryegrass) pattern 16.8% of total sample was more common than the ryegrass-specific (allergic to ryegrass or other allergen but not HDM) 8.6% of total sample.
