In order to examine the relationship between primary care orientation and the health status of a country’s population, each country was ranked according to its health statistics for several health indicators. #1 is the best rank, and #13 is the worst. Thus, the better the ranking, the lower the average rank.

These health indicators were grouped according to the age to which they pertain.
