The countries’ scores were ranked; #1 represents the highest ranked country. When ranks for policy characteristics are plotted against ranks for practice characteristics, it is evident that the two are highly related: the better the country’s policies, the better the primary care practice. That is, it appears that good primary care practice requires supportive health policies.
