Public communication campaigns are designed to increase awareness, change attitudes, beliefs and behaviors in a positive way concerning a populationís health. Sometimes, these campaigns are successful and at others, they fail. The purpose of this lecture is to demonstrate how to reach all populations through the media, which includes print, broadcast--with an emphasis on radio, and also web sites, using proven and easy steps.
