Performance Indicators (P.I.’s) are:

1. Monitoring Tools to measure activities and outputs

2. Evaluation tools to measure whether objectives and goals are achieved

They should be SMART and can relate to Input, Process and Outcome

Specific

Measurable

Achievable

Realistic

Timebound

Means of Verification (MOV’s)

are the sources of information for verifying that the P.I.'s have been achieved.

The Risks to the project need to be considered-short term, will it happen, long term - is it sustainable.

Risk can be assessed in terms of Consequences 1-4 and Probability 1-4, the Risk Rating is the multiple of these  i.e.

Consequences 4 x Probability 4 = Risk rating 16 (very high).
