In the case global series, 105 males and 142 females were found, corresponding to 43% and 57% of studied individuals respectively.

Average age is 55 years. Values range from 7 to 92 years. Average age is 57 years for males and 53 years for females, however the difference was not statistically significant (p=0.082). Age-specific rates for both sexes increase with age.

The most frequent anatomic site corresponds to lower limbs (31%). The commonest one in males is melanoma of trunk (34%), while lower limbs is the commonest site in females (44%). Site distribution differs by sex (p<0.001).
