Dr. Chasan-Taber’s research interests include reproductive & perinatal epidemiology and women's health. Her work focuses on assessing the impact of physical activity during pregnancy on maternal and fetal disorders as well as the development and validation of epidemiologic tools to accurately measure physical activity in women.

Dr. Freedson’s research interests include children's responses to exercise, physical activity assessment, and exercise and women's health. Her work focuses on determinants of performance and fitness in children and adults, development and validation of objective techniques to assess habitual physical activity in children and adults, and physical activity and health outcomes in women.
