This is where the science fiction comes in for the anti-GMO campaign.  Golden rice, they realized that Golden Rice was actually a pharmaceutical.  It wasn't just food, it was a pharmaceutical.  And one of the great benefits that has come from GMO technology are things like human insulin.  You know if you're diabetic, you take human insulin.  Where does that come from?  Well, it doesn't come from humans.  Okay, where it comes from, it comes from bacteria or yeast that have been engineered to produce the human version of insulin.  This is a GMO.  Have you ever heard Greenpeace say anything negative about that?  I've never heard anything negative from them about that.  But it's a GMO and I think they saw that this was going to be exactly the same sort of situation.
