We are still stumped with this patient where the MRI doesn’t reveal any abnormality to one Harvard trained radiologist and doubtful abnormalities but nothing definitive to one Indian trained radiologist. We badly need to get a GH or IGF1 estimation in this patient. This patient doesn’t have the money to get that done. This is where the most important role of ‘patient centred research’ that of helping the patient comes to the fore. Can we crowd source this to fund the patient? Can we utilize PCORI funds to care for patients in low resource settings?
