Last year, tobacco killed 4.2 million people. By 2030, that number will more than double to 10 million. More people are expected to die from tobacco-related illness over the next 30 years than from the combined toll of AIDS, tuberculosis, automobile accidents, maternal mortality, homicide and suicide combined.
