Mark Spohr has over 20 years international experience consulting in the field of health policy, health planning, and health information systems during work with WHO, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, USAID, AusAID, Global Fund, and UNAIDS. He has worked in Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Samoa, Ethiopia, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Nigeria.

He has developed software for use in international health including burden of disease studies. In addition, he has started several health care software companies which have provided solutions for medical records, medical billing, diagnosis and treatment coding on various platforms including desktop, web, and mobile devices.

He currently works as an independent consultant.
