1985-1995 Organized and conducted epidemiological investigations on diabetes mellitus in the population of Novosibirsk-City(incidence, prevalence of previously registered diabetes mellitus and the causes of the death among diabetics).

1988- 1998 The study of prevalence of diabetes mellitus and impaired glucose tolerance in Novosibirsk City and study of risk factors among diabetics and nondiabetics subjects. The prospective mortality follow-up amond investigated people.

1988-1992 Coordinated studies of registries of noncommunicable diseases(cancer, chronic lung diseases) and register of mortality in Novosibirsk-City.

1989-1992 Planning and conducting screenings for noncommunicable diseases in native people of Chukotka region(diabetes, ichemic heart disease, hypertension, including study of risk factors(abnormal lipids levels, smoking, etc.). Organization of registry of diabetes mellitus, cancer and mortality among native population of Chukotka.
