Parts of Russia and Kazakhstan have the highest percentage of Multidrug Resistant – TB in 1994 to 2011, followed by China.

The highest numbers of notified cases of MDR-TB in 2011 were reported not only in Russia and Kazakhstan but also in China, India, South Africa, Chile and others. In some countries in Africa and Asia laboratories are not well equipped.
