When we talk about social determinants of health, we sometimes ignore their effects of the lives of gay, bisexual and other MSM. These are data from the National HIV Behavioral Surveillance system that show the effects of education and income on HIV prevalence among MSM. MSM with less education were more likely to have HIV. MSM who earned less were more likely to have HIV. And all of these men, regardless of education and income, had alarming high HIV prevalence. The report that contain these data can be found at: http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm5937a2.htm?s_cid=mm5937a2_w
