This is one of the highest-tech and most modern greenhouses in the world, located in southern California, but built by a Dutch firm called KUBO.  The greenhouse is air conditioned from the bottom by evaporative cooling through these distribution hoses, the tomatoes are grown vertically on strings without soil, insects are completely excluded by screens – and the yields are in the neighborhood of a hundred kilograms of tomatoes per square meter per year.
