The life expectancy of the homeless is about 30 years less then the general population.  The life expectancy of a homeless person in the US is less than a person in the Sudan. AIDS is a very serious condition and billions of dollars have been spent on AIDS projects.  The Live expectancy of a person with AIDs is now 69.  Epidemiologic and environmental research for mVET homeless has little funding, and almost no research

(There are no data concerning life expectancy among homeless vets. We interpolate data from mortality from general population of homeless which should be close. The reference is from Hwang et al. Mortality among residents of shelters, rooming houses, and hotels in Canada: 11 year follow-up study BMJ 2009;339:b4036)  We clearly need to have data from Veterans.
