The mVET program is an out growth of the Supercourse. The Supercourse is an Internet based system where we first build a network of primarily academic scientists world wide.  From this network we have collected 5140 of the world’s best global health PowerPoint lectures.  We then make these lectures avaialable in a free lecture library (www.pitt.edu/~super1/).  The supercourse has markedly increase training in the area of global health and prevention. In addition we produce “Just in Time” lectures where hours after a disaster we educate the public and the world.  As this is a global program it is very important to have lectures in multiple languages

We are now bringing the supercourse to cell phones. A primary reason for this is that in a year the number of cell phones will equal the number of people in the world.
