It is likely that c-Myc induces these two important properties. However, c-Myc also induces apoptosis and senescence, which are probably suppressed by KLF4. Oct-3/4 probably changes the cell fate from tumor cells to ES-like cells. To establish pluripotency, Sox2 is also required.
