In talking about the moral rules, I mentioned that there were moral virtues related to each of the second five rules but that there were no moral virtues related to first five moral rules. However, there is a moral vice related to the first five rules. A person who intentionally unjustifiably violates any of the first five rules is cruel, one who does so only knowingly is callous.  But being callous is also related to the moral ideals, it is indifference to the suffering of other, and is the opposite of the virtue of kindness, which involves acting so as to alleviate the suffering of others.
