Often we think only those traditionally seen as experts or leaders can create change for improvements. These are some of those.

However there are many leaders in a community that outsiders might not recognize. This is why we must understand where to look for community leaders that are “Not Your Usual Suspects”.

Student Activity: Have students offer suggestions of where one might look for leadership in a community and discuss what these folks might bring as assets to the improvement of health.
