The research productivity is low for all the Central Asia countries. Uzbekistan is the only country to publish more than the average for all countries with a ranking of 76 out of the 192 countries.  The other 4 countries fall into the bottom half of country productivity. The articles represent 13 years.  Uzbekistan has therefore on average 400 articles per year, while Turkmenistan has about 9 per year.
