In the IPCA countries, all but Nicaragua have reached 100% for the serological screening of blood donors, but still have a lot of work to do with vector control (Ponce, 43).  As of 2007, the IPCA countries had been close, though, to eliminating Rhondnius prolixus (Ponce, 43).
