Annually, countries send representatives to meet at this commission.  Here, representatives remark on the status and success of their initiatives.  Scientists also share any information they have discovered as well due to “intercountry technical cooperation agreements” (Vines, 3).  This commission continues to meet to this present day, and the initiative as a whole has been largely successful.
